About the opportunity

The Diversity and Inclusion team is looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Project Officer to join their high performing team. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of an inclusive and diverse culture in the university through supporting the development of frameworks, capability, systems, and tools.

To be successful in your new role, you must be sensitive to inclusion and diversity issues and be able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across the University at both strategic and operational levels.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • support the development and implementation of the university wide approaches to diversity & inclusion through delivery of contemporary evidence-based frameworks, processes, systems, and tools

  • work with HR Partners to define business needs and deliver fit for purpose solutions

  • maintain effective and positive relationships with other OD staff, Centers of Excellence and Partnering functions to develop integrated and aligned solutions.

About you

  • awareness of emerging and effective diversity, organisation development and HR related trends and practices that inform good practice

  • demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders

  • high level organisational skills with an ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks concurrently and independently

  • proven analytical skills and the ability to adapt and present information to inform decision making on complex issues.
