Working as part of the Technology Shared Services (TSS) Project and Transition Management Office, you’ll become an integral part of how GDIT delivers services to meet our customer’s mission.As a Project Manager/ Scrum Master, you will lead matrixed teams on challenging projects applying various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Strong communications, interpersonal, and leadership skills are required to drive collaboration across technical and business teams to successfully deliver on time, under budget, and realizing the desired outcomes. You will support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business while growing your career.As a Project Manager/ Scrum Master, your responsibilities include managing projects from requirements to post-go live activities such as, collecting and vetting requirements, developing project artifacts (statement of work, resource plan, requirements traceability matrix, budget, schedule, etc.), facilitating project management forums (scrums, sprints, retrospectives, backlog grooming, management reviews, operational readiness reviews, lessons learned, etc.), and driving results working across all stakeholders.HOW A PROJECT/TASK MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Growing GDIT business by leading successful on-time, under budget, value-add projects.
- Collaborating across customer, executive, business, and technical stakeholders to drive consensus and resolve conflicts.
- Flexibility and proactive management to balance the cost, schedule, and scope of projects.
- Mitigating risks through focused management during project execution.
- Leading to drive outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent required years of experience
- Required Experience:
- 5+ years of extensive experience managing project’s cost, schedule, scope, risks, stakeholders, and outcomes.
- PMP Certification
- CSM
- Experience supporting Government customers/programs/projects
- Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Managing projects in a matrixed team environment
- Scrum, Agile and Waterfall Experience
- Proficient Microsoft Office application skills (e.g., Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to drive decisions and outcomes.
- Demonstrable leadership experience
- Preferred Skills:
- SAFe Agile Certification
- Diverse experience using different project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, etc.)
- Negotiating contract terms and conditions
- Executive presentation skills
- Financial acumen
- Technical delivery experience

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
