The role as Project Manager for Power Device Technology Development (f/m/div) will request from you project management skills as well as technical skills, not even mentioning outstanding communication skills and a certain level of flexibilityIn your new role you will:

  • Plan, control and execute technology development projects for SiC-MOSFET, Si-IGBT and diode chip technologies across various Infineon sites
  • Conduct a forward-looking risk management in order to proactively identify (technical) challenges as well as (business) opportunities
  • Take on full project manager responsibilities by continuously assessing the progress and adjusting the project plan. This includes the overall project planning, development target alignments, resources, budget as well as professional risk management
  • Form, guide and motivate cross-functional project teams – you create energy and commitment by explaining and keeping a good team spirit
  • Identify stakeholders (internal and external) and develop relationships with internal stakeholders, being aware of their interest for the project
  • Appliy solid functional knowledge/technical expertise in more than one functional area

  • A degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering, a PhD is beneficial
  • More than 5 years of experience within the semiconductor industry, preferably in the area of technology development or transfer management
  • At least 4 years experience in leading projects, preferably within an industrial development department
  • A stable technical understanding of power device physics, technology development and semiconductor processing
  • Convincing communication and presentation skills to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders
  • Project management certification (e.g. IPMA C) (as an advantage)
  • Excellent English skills, German would be an advantage
