The UNOPS Global Portfolios Office (GPO) unites the New York Portfolios, including the Peace and Security team (PSC); the Geneva Office; and the Vienna-based Water, Environment and Climate (WEC) teams, to maximize global impact, foster efficiencies and streamline global programmes. The RBM Partnership to End Malaria is the largest global platform for coordinated action against malaria, bringing together more than 500 partners across governments, civil society, the private sector, and research and development organizations. The Partnership works to align political commitment, technical expertise, and financial resources to accelerate progress toward a malaria-free world. By fostering country leadership, supporting innovative tools and strategies, and strengthening multisectoral collaboration,
RBM helps drive impact where it is needed most: saving lives, advancing health security, and contributing to sustainable development. RBM programs span over multiple areas of work, partner committees/working groups and donors, requiring a complex project and budget management system.
The Project Management Support Officer will provide daily assistance to ensure efficient management, monitoring and reporting, in direct support to the Head of Programs, and in close coordination with the Operations Senior Manager.
The Project Management Support Officer provides operational, analytical and administrative support to ensure effective planning, implementation and monitoring of programs in line with UNOPS policies and client/partner requirements. The incumbent supports data management, reporting, procurement, financial and/or logistical activities that contribute to efficient project delivery. The role collects, validates and analyzes project data, generating insights and reports to inform evidence-based decision-making and enhance performance.
The Project Management Support Officer facilitates coordination among programs teams, partners and support services units, ensuring timely implementation of activities and compliance with established procedures. The incumbent may also undertake field missions to support data collection, training and stakeholder engagement, helping strengthen project systems, processes and reporting tools.
