Project Leader – School of Computer Science – HCII

The NSF AI Institute for Collaborative Assistance and Responsive Interaction for Networked Groups (AI-CARING) is seeking a talented, highly-motivated individual to serve as a Project Leader for Broader Participation, Education, and Outreach (BP/E/O). This individual will work with the CMU team to ensure that we create and maintain a thriving and inclusive outreach program. The Project Leader will manage daily activities and maintain data collection for BP/E/O activities for AI-CARING.

You core responsibilities include:

• Coordinate of outreach and educational events and activities part of the data collection of the center
• Manage reports and dissemination of information
• Manage the summer REU program
• Serve as a liaison for industry and community partners
• Organize, planning, and running outreach events
• Organize regular meetings with participating organizations and project team members to
• Monitor implementation progress and work products; maintaining effective project team communications
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-3 project management experience
