The Institute Competence Centre Photovoltaics Berlin (PVcomB) is looking for

Project Engineer (f/m/d) for Performance Optimization of PV Modules within Architectural Building Elements in full-time or part-time

Your Tasks

  • You investigate PV-modules in the indoor and outdoor lab with common characterization methods as well as with thermography, temperature sensors, and electro luminescence.
  • You advance discussions with our project partners virtually and on business trips within Germany.
  • You ensure the long-time installation of the PV facade elements in the outdoor lab.
  • You evaluate the investigations and the data you acquired outdoor.
  • You support us in writing the German project report.

Your Profile

  • Completed scientific university studies (Master or Uni-Dipl.) in renewable energies/environmental engineering
  • Experience in working with PV cell and module characterization
  • Aptitude to work creatively and independently
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to write reports in German and within given deadlines
  • Good command of German and English

It is crucial to us that the successfull applicant stays in until the end of their contract and writes down the gained knowledge as part of the project report.
