As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing project plans, reporting and best practices related to specialized Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons programs, such as Area of Focused Competence (AFC) & the Subspecialty Exam Affiliation Program (SEAP) within PGME. Drawing upon your excellent interpersonal and time management skills, you will achieve both individual and team success by building effective relationships with stakeholders. Your project coordination capabilities will ensure that there is clear communication across the team about project dependencies and related activities. Your background and experience driving deadlines and deliverables, will contribute to the success of PGME.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing plans and process improvements for administrative workflow and project activities.
  • Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders.
  • Building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and partners of strategic importance.
  • Delivering presentations to promote programs, opportunities, and/or initiatives.
  • Supports project administration by facilitating meetings, preparing meeting agendas, editing project documentation, and maintaining database records.
  • Determining logistical details for activities for events and/or programming.
  • Keeping well informed on industry best practices and trends

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience coordinating and implementing project plans, preferably within a University, government, medical education or health care setting.
  • Proficiency in identifying and building process improvements for administrative workflows and project activities.
  • Demonstrated experience determining logistical details and activities for events.
  • Strong experience building relationships with stakeholders and partners, including senior level leaders.
  • Experience independently drafting, editing, and finalizing written materials, including presentations and project documentation.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone: 

USW Pay Band 12 — $78,308 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $100,144. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
