About the role
The Project Coordinator (Learning Technologies) is responsible for both administrative and project coordination functions for a range of global Learning Technology and Digital Experience initiatives across RMIT. This includes, managing, writing, and collating project documentation, coordinating project socialisation activities with stakeholders across RMIT, maintaining project pages from within Confluence/Jira and supporting Agile SCRUMBAN practices through fortnightly sprints and quarterly planning.

Working closely with the ADLT and the Learning Tech Leads, the role straddles both the learning technology and digital experience domains in a global context, supporting the Learning Tech team with planning and workshop coordination and other initiative or stakeholder management activities.

About You

As the Project Coordinator (Learning Technologies), you will have worked within a complex organisation (higher education preferred) and can engage with various stakeholders to enhance the student and educator experience. You will be comfortable using SharePoint and the Office 365 suite. To be successful in the role, you will have excellent communication skills and be self-motivated to keep track and see out the completion of multiple projects.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:

  • Substantial experience in a similar role (project officer or assistant, account management or digital production).

  • Demonstrated experience in an Agile organisation (Particularly SCRUMban)

  • Experience working with project management software (Atlassian suite preferred)

  • Experience coordinating projects for large clients or in a large organisation with established governance processes

  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (preferably Canvas) and other learning technologies

  • Experience working with WCAG AA 2.1 as part of online delivery

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
