About the role
The Project Coordinator will liaise with stakeholders tasked with completion of management actions arising from reviews and audits related to RMIT’s compliance with the ESOS framework, support with analysis of data in Provider Registration and International Student Management System, assist in preparing the application for the renewal of CRICOS registration and be responsible for the administrative functions related to the submission of the application to TEQSA. The Project Coordinator will also be involved in monitoring and updating key stakeholders on the actions arising from the review and audit.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:

  • Experience with working in  tertiary  education or multi-sector environment and  knowledge of the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act, National Code and Student Visa Regulations.

  • Sound knowledge of the Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS).

  • Demonstrated ability to produce detailed reports and institutional data generated from the Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS).

  • Sound knowledge of relevant RMIT policies and procedures.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and re- adjust workload priorities to meet conflicting deadlines.

  • Demonstrated capacity to work in a collegiate manner with all staff through building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with a wide range of groups, both internal and external to the University.

  • Ability to gather, analyse, report on and present information and data from a variety of formats and for a variety of purposes.

  • Demonstrated ability to use a range of information and communication technologies effectively including; Microsoft Office university software packages, web & email software, database use and management of SharePoint sites.

The Finance and Governance portfolio partners with other areas of the university in achieving the organisation’s objectives, by strategically orienting its provision of financial, legal, analytics, risk and assurance and secretarial services to the delivery of the core operations of the university

Education Regulations Compliance & Assurance (ERCA) is a part of the Finance and Governance portfolio. ERCA supports RMIT’s compliance and quality assurance with key regulatory frameworks related to RMIT’s education operations. ERCA’s role extends across RMIT and its controlled entities.

The role of ERCA includes strategic engagement with external regulators, responses to principal regulatory agencies, management of the renewal of registrations escalation of risks and regulatory issues to RMIT’s governance bodies and ongoing compliance assurance of RMIT’s obligations under the ESOS Framework.
