Position Summary:
 
The Office of Inclusive Excellence drives UCI’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. This commitment is fundamental to advancing the campus’ mission as a public research university. Under general supervision of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, the incumbent supports Office of Inclusive Excellence projects, events, marketing, and communications. Programs and events supported include Inclusive Excellence Certificate programs and courses, Confronting Extremism events, and other signature events. Incumbent performs a wide variety of analytical and administrative tasks including event logistics, development of communications, reporting, and trend analysis. Examines program performance and recommends policies to support broader engagement and achievement of OIE priorities. Applies professional concepts to conduct analytical studies or projects of moderate scope and complexity to address a variety of policy, event planning, and procedural issues. Fully analyzes issues and problems, gathers data and information, finds and evaluates alternatives and makes sound recommendations. Note: This position has the ability to work a hybrid schedule with a day remote.
 
Compensation Range:
 
$25.57 – $26.04

Required:
 
3+ years’ experience in a professional position within general administration.
Bachelor’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Proficient in ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality. Demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail. Working knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs. Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns. Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Working knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques. Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.

This position has the ability to work a hybrid schedule with a day remote.
