Description

The Program Specialist provides comprehensive course support for the Physician Assistant program but has more of a focus on the clinical curriculum. This position is responsible for managing courses using the medical school’s One45 database system, canvas, and other database systems. Participates in the preparation of the course schedules, prepares and posts course documents, manages room scheduling. Regularly disseminates information to students and faculty. Maintains course data in One45, Canvas and Banner, and provides course statistics and reports.  Oversees distribution of course and faculty evaluations of both didactic and clinical curriculums. Performs other duties as assigned. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of directly related experience in a professional office environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.  

Required Skills & Abilities:
*Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
*Demonstrated ability to organize large, ongoing projects with many deadlines
*Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
*Demonstrated skills in MS Office Suite.
*Familiarity with databases, along with demonstrated ability to learn new software applications.
*Ability to synthesize and analyze data.
*Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
*Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and tact.

Preferred:
*Experience supporting academic courses.
*Experience with academic content management system.
*Experience working with students.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (3 days on-campus and 2 days remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
