PROGRAM MANAGER, Program in Women’s and Gender Studies, to manage the financial, human resources, and administrative operations for MIT’s Program in Women’s and Gender Studies (WGS) . Will work with the WGS director on developing strategic program goals, priorities, and events; and on generating ideas and making plans to build the program’s effectiveness, functionality, and connections with the broader MIT community. Responsibilities include developing the annual budget and overseeing all program finances; serving as the academic administrator for the undergraduate program, including working with majors and minors; and supervising the WGS program assistant and managing the day-to-day operations of the WGS Program.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least three years of professional experience in an office environment; support for MIT’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in higher education; expertise in program administration; excellent analytical, technical, financial, organizational, leadership, supervisory, research, problem-solving, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills; good judgment and discretion with sensitive/confidential matters; experience overseeing budgets and executing accounting transactions; and demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team. PREFERRED:
experience in higher education; a background in women’s, gender, and sexuality studies or related fields; and MIT work experience and knowledge of its financial, human resources, and operational systems. Job #22055-8Salary range: $75,000 – 92,000, commensurate with experience.
