Your opportunity:
Working under the Director, Program Services & Student Life the Program Manager is responsible for meeting program objectives by managing delivery and student services to the diverse and experienced professionals who are Professional MBA students.
The Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of operational workflow planning and management working closely with the program staff to align the academic programming with the administrative and program support function as well as with quality client service. The incumbent is also responsible for supervising Casual staff and/or work study students and coordinates with partner schools for international electives. The incumbent manages specific areas of the budget, budget forecasts, projections and expense tracking.
The incumbent manages utilization of resources, space, caterers, and AV equipment for the Professional MBA classes. Moreover, the incumbent serves as key point of contact for a very senior and culturally diverse participant group and for faculty, ensuring a constant flow of information is communicated.
This position requires international travels to various countries and extended stay in those countries.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising students on academic and/or financial matters by providing options and consequences incorporating personal circumstances impacting academic success and an understanding of an individual’s background
- Providing detailed information on program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies and deadlines
- Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders
- Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
- Ensuring that procedures and/or guidelines are followed
- Conducting detailed analysis on program efficiency and student learning outcomes to inform program planning activities
- Implementing program improvements and maintenance of program standards
- Analyzing service delivery and/or internal processes and recommending improvementsor course evaluations
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years related administrative experience in planning, organizing and managing events & programs
- Demonstrated experience in supporting curriculum planning, and academic program delivery.
- Experience with online learning tools and event management.
- Experience and sound knowledge of best practices in advising and student services
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure and high-volume service-oriented environment, with a demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and focus on attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to speak in large group settings
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills
- High customer service skills with sensitivity to various levels of expectation from corporate executives, faculty, staff and suppliers.
- Demonstrated ability to meet different deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Strong computer skills with demonstrated working knowledge of Apple software and products, Apps, online textbooks as well as MS Office software
Assets (Nonessential):
- International work experience preferred
- Experience working in a University setting with graduate students
- Experience with Quercus, MS Teams and Zoom

Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:
USW Pay Band 13 — $83,150 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $106,336. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
