Job Overview

The Program Manager for Academic and Cooperative Education Support will serve in a centralized role for the Division of Experience-Based Learning and Career Education (ELCE) reporting directly to the Director of Business Affairs. This position oversees a wide range of duties related to enrollment data management, partner communication and support, program assessment and office management needs that support ELCE programs and pathways. This position will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment – both in the office and remote.

Essential Functions

Provide support for essential program management functions for mandatory and optional cooperative education/experiential learning programs and pathways in the following key areas:

 

Enrollment data management:

  • Reconcile graduation certifications, track student registrations
  • Provide support for annual updates of the course-level data for the university Experiential Learning dashboard.
  • Assist and support data collection for post-graduation employment/career paths.
  • Develop and maintain tracking process for optional co-op sub plan students.
  • Assist with Handshake administration related to co-op sub plans and A&S student engagement.

 

Partner communication and support:

  • Maintain the Division’s employer databases with current employer and student information, provide support for connecting students with opportunities
  • Support regular communicate with instructors for experiential learning courses, provide resources, and gather feedback/data on a semesterly basis.
  • Work with campus instructors to gather feedback/data each semester for campus interviews.
  • Utilize university databases (i.e., CaRT) to run reports and build dashboards to track student engagement in optional co-op sub plans, monitor PD enrollment trends/projections and generate information for departmental annual reports.

Essential Functions Continued

Program assessment:

  • Utilize Qualtrics to build reports summarizing pre/post confidence survey data for mid-collegiate A&S students.
  • Support regular communicate with instructors for experiential learning courses, provide resources, and gather feedback/data on a semesterly basis.
  • Collaborate with partner colleges to provide cooperative education data necessary for accreditation/reaccreditation.

 

Office management :

  • May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
  • May perform other related duties based on departmental need.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

Three (3) years of relevant experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Experience with student information systems (i.e., Catalyst, CaRT).
  • Experience with internal employer/student databases (i.e., PAL, Handshake).
  • Experience with Microsoft applications, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
