Program Manager
Job Description
Access ASU is currently hiring a Program Manager to provide leadership, implementation and support for the Bank of America Arizona Economic Opportunity grant (“Leverage AZ”) and other outreach programs as needed. Under the general supervision of the Director, the Program Manager will serve as a key leader and work as part of the team to implement a grant focused on decreasing the economic opportunity gap for underrepresented students and learners. The Program Manager will handle operations related to program execution, including but not limited to, planning and logistics, marketing and outreach, participant registrations and enrollment, budget monitoring and program assessment.
In addition, the Program Manager will work closely with ASU Career and Development Services (CPDS) as a liaison between units to advance our shared work and engage in high level industry partnership relationship management.
The ideal candidate must work well independently in a fast-paced, flexible environment, provide a high level of client service to both the university and external communities, and make strong contributions both as an individual and as a team player. This position requires evidence of effective time management skills and success in being accountable for specific outcomes.

Essential Duties
While the majority of duties will center around the Bank of America Arizona Economic Opportunity grant, the ideal candidate will also be ready and able to assist in other priority duties as needed. Oversees the development and facilitation of workshops, meetings or conferences with high impact on program and/or participants; monitors logistics, scheduling and participant communications.
Work location is in person at the assigned ASU location in Tempe, AZ. Work schedule will be flexible, depending on when programs are offered, to include nights and weekends. On days when programs are not offered, work schedule will be Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND five years administrative/coordination experience; OR, Master’s degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND three years administrative/coordination experience; OR Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
