We are inspired by and associated with World Resources Institute (WRI), a global research organization. Currently over 250 researchers are working with WRI India in our offices at Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
How your day will unfold:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders such as Uttar Pradesh and Bihar governments such as transport, agriculture, environmental departments, major agri district senior policy makers, e-tractor OEMs; farmer associations, agriculture experts.
- Engage in consultations with officials from the UP and Bihar governments, industry stakeholders, OEMs, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Develop strategies for outreach, achieving goals and monitoring progress for adoption of e-tractors.
- Oversee preparation of different types of collateral like reports, slide decks, etc.
- Oversee planning and management of events organized under the project like stakeholder convenings, webinars, exhibitions, etc.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Participate in external workshops, discussions, and events to showcase thought leadership, increasing the organization’s visibility.
- Generate literature pieces to enhance the organization’s ecosystem engagement and support the internal team’s knowledge building.
- Business degree or an equivalent master’s degree in Agricultural engineering with 7-10 techno-commercial years of experience for Tractors and Farm machinery organizations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement/industry interactions.
- Experience in or knowledge of freight transport (medium and heavy-duty vehicles), urban supply chain, logistics policy, and capacity building.
- Familiarity with electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, or related technologies is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience of working with the government, private sector, civic groups, and academic and research organizations.
- The candidate must be fluent in English and Hindi. Fluency in other regional languages will be an added advantage.
- Good writing and presentation skills. Quantitative and qualitative research capabilities are essential.
- The candidate must be able to work independently and contribute to the learning of the team.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite. Experience in spatial mapping, statistical programming languages and data visualization tools will be an added advantage.
