Program Coordinator (Partial Telework)–(220001FH) The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), Institute of Human Virology (IHV) is currently recruiting for a Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator coordinates activities and functions of the IHV’s Division of Clinical Care and Research (DCCR) to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the Division are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications. The Program Coordinator is expected to function independently and exercise discretion to accomplish and improve the programmatic objectives.

Supports DCCR leadership specifically Division Director and Director of Clinical Research and Compliance in day to day.
Coordinates day to day activities to support the IHV’s DCCR and its faculty and staff by providing both administrative and program support and other inter-related activities of other departments or staff to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies and procedures.
Responsible for ordering supplies, procurement of equipment/furniture, making travel arrangements, submitting reimbursements for faculty and staff.
Responsible for facilitation of on-boarding of all new faculty and staff to IHV/UMB (access systems, trainings, etc).
Interact and maintain liaison with faculty, staff and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with community members and partners in order to grow the programming.
Schedule, market, and promote events of the program by independently developing promotional marketing materials and event plans.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree. Experience: One (1) year administrative or program coordination experience. Other: Related experience to program may be substituted for education.
