Position Summary:
The position provides administration, coordination, and support of the Education division. The candidate will plan and coordinate educational programs for various adult learner audiences (students, health professionals, faculty, patients and community members). Management of current programs include, but not limited to: HEAL-IM, Culinary Medicine program, ND Residency, FM Residency (IM Track) and IM Elective. The candidate will ensure that annual requirements are met and educational activities which support the curriculum are maintained. Demonstrate initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed fellow expectations. Along with Education Director, serve as program liaison with various other agencies, organizations, and groups. Prepare a variety of documentation associated with program operations; distributes documentation and retains records as appropriate. Maintain computerized and hard-copy files of program records. Develop processes to improve task efficiency by standardizing formats for routine correspondence and identify areas for improved efficiency.
Compensation Range:
$53,500 – $78,600

Required:
Advanced knowledge of planning and organizing educational programs and events.
Bachelor’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Knowledge of educational technology and systems. Ability to troubleshoot and triages related technology issues. Communication skills; includes verbal, written and active listening. Service oriented and responsive to questions and requests. Ability to interact in a professional, resourceful, and courteous manner. Demonstrated interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships within department and with learners. Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to work with extremely complex faculty calendars / schedules requires extremely well organized and detail-oriented precision.
Preferred:
Investigative, data analysis, and reporting skills. Ability to generate computer reports, checking for errors, correcting and submitting accurate reports. Skills include entering, maintaining, extracting, and analyzing data in electronic systems. Basic knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements. Basic knowledge of health professions education industry. Basic knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research. Acquiring skills in developing and implementing processes and systems. Familiarity with the administrative and operational implications in a program.
Special Conditions Required:
Flexibility to work nights and weekends for events and meetings.
