SAIT’s School for Advanced Digital Technology is our boldest transformation to date — a new tech-driven training hub, arming students with the digital skills needed to re-imagine their career. The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager of Operations, School for Advanced Digital Technology, the Program Assistant is a professional who strives for excellence while working collaboratively. The position provides concierge support for students and faculty as the main reception for the School, while engaging with the entire administrative and leadership team to meet the needs of the academic programs. They are a department resource who excels at working in a hybrid environment and who has experience using collaborative tools within the O365 suite.
The Role

    • Be an ambassador for SADT
    • Reception duties
    • Communicate with key stakeholders using multiple channels focusing on community building and engagement
    • Organize meetings and assist with events
    • Identify and implement process improvements and automations
    • Generate reports and complete basic data analysis
    • Support the facilitation of School surveys and misconduct procedures
    • Order and distribute course materials
    • Be and advocate of SADT’s Health, Safety and Environment program while supporting the H&S Committee

Qualifications & Experience

    • Diploma or higher
    • Two to four years’ experience in administrative support role
    • Experience in post-secondary or government would be an asset
    • Experience with O365, specifically SharePoint, Power Automate, Project/Planner, Teams or equivalent software
    • Previous experience using Banner and Argos considered an asset
