Job Description Summary:
The Division for Physical Activity and Weight Management supports research, training and clinics for the prevention and treatment of obesity in children and adults. Position will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks related to the program and will assist with expanding the scope/client base of the Weight Management Program.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience can substitute for Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency with Windows/Microsoft Office software
- Effective communication skills, including strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Administrative/Medical office experience
- Ability to work some evenings
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Redcap, Electronic Medical Records

Recruiting and/or public speaking experience

Social Media/Marketing experience

Background in nutrition, exercise or weight management

Completed a Nursing or Medical Assistant program
Job Duties Outlined:

Administrative: 1) Manage high volume phone and email correspondence. 2) Approve packing slips/invoices of inventory received; notify individual and accountant item received. 3) Complete food orders.

Clinic: 1) Responsible for registration of patient prior to visit and/or upon arrival, including entering demographics, insurance verification, scanning and document preparation, updating documentation and processing of referrals (within two business days of receipt). Scheduling of activities, including patient appointments, Telehealth visits. 2) Complete point of service paperwork. Provides patient support for the MyChart (patient portal) EMR (electronic medical records) System.3) Explains facility policies and ensures patient and/or delegate understands and signs the all forms; confirm annually changes in address/insurance/etc. Clear and accurate documentation should be entered on the appropriate forms and keyed into the computer system. 4) Complies with Medicare/Medicaid and other insurance rules and regulations. Completes MSPQ as required for appointment by Medicare/Medicaid. 5) Responsible for check in/out and phone reception as needed. 6) Manages all elements of workque and waitlist. 7) Distributes faxes to appropriate nurse/coordinator. 8)Update and maintain redcap as required for all participants.
