PROGRAM ANALYST, School of Dental Medicine, Academic Affairs (22500561621031)

This position’s purpose is to implement the process for curriculum and program evaluation. This process includes the annual evaluations of
courses and related educational activities, student satisfaction, faculty instruction, educational resources, clinical operations, as well as grading of examinations as needed and special projects and initiatives as assigned. The Program Analyst serves as an administrative liaison to the School’s pre-doctoral and/or postdoctoral course directors and faculty, and, as such, is responsible for organizing and reporting data from the various surveys that inform about educational processes and outcomes. S/he may also be responsible for setting priorities for work study students. The Program Analyst works closely with, and reports directly to, the Assistant Director of Curriculum and Program Evaluation. The position provides the Academic
Dean and other School administrators with relevant data necessary for documenting programmatic effectiveness. This person will also be responsible for providing technical support to faculty and students on certain educational technologies.

  • B.A. or B.S. in social sciences or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree helpful.
  • 1 to 3 years experience in survey administration, survey design, statistics and statistical software.
  • Strong computer skills required- SPSS, and Excel. Experience using Survey Monkey, Qualtrics or equivalent survey applications.
  • Being comfortable learning new technologies is a plus.
  • Must possess critical thinking abilities to make independent judgements and decisions to effectively problem solve.
  • Experience with data gathering and evaluation methods is desired but not required.
