Professor Ronel Erwee Garden City Zonta Club Bursary

In 2023, UniSQ will offer one Professor Ronel Erwee Garden City Zonta Club Bursary to support a female international student continuing their studies in a bachelor’s degree program.
In memory of the late Professor Ronel Erwee, the Zonta Club of Toowoomba Garden City is offering a bursary for a female, international, on-campus student enrolled in a bachelor’s degree at the Toowoomba campus.
Value
The bursary will have a maximum value of $2000.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- identify as female
- be an international on-campus student
- be continuing their studies at UniSQ in a bachelor’s degree program in Study Period 1 2023 (e.g., Semester 1 2023)
- have, as at the release of results for Semester 2 2022:
- a minimum of 6 UniSQ study units completed and credited towards their current program
- a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.5
- be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in Study Period 1 2023 (e.g., Semester 1 2023)
- be enrolled on-campus at UniSQ Toowoomba.
Selection criteria
Applicants must
- submit a personal statement (500 words maximum), outlining:
- your reflections on your studies at UniSQ to date and how you will make the most of your remaining studies
- how you see yourself as a future professional within your field
- why you chose to study at UniSQ Toowoomba.
*Applicants will also be assessed on academic achievement.
Please Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
