Nature of Work

These individuals are clinical faculty members in the Department of Pathology, University of Colorado Denver. They participate in clinical service for the Colorado Genetics Laboratory on a part time hourly basis.

Major Functions

• Provide independent case review and interpretation of clinical fluorescent in situ  hybridization, array comparative genomic hybridization, and cytogenetic analyses
• Provide consultation with physician clients
• Interact with Colorado Genetics Laboratory staff regarding clinical case results

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range (or hiring range) has been established at $103.25 to $104.00 per hour

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Qualifications

 

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

• M.D. or Ph.D. degree
• Board certification by the American Board of Medical Genetics in Clinical Cytogenetics and/or Clinical Molecular Genetics
