About the opportunity
Southern
Cross University’s Faculty of Health is expanding their health programs
to prepare the next generation of dedicated counsellors and are
seeking a Professor, Associate Professor or Senior Lecturer of
Counselling to lead the delivery of a new counselling program.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the
world by designing engaging learning experiences and building
connections with industry and community to develop accredited
counselling professionals.
We
are seeking applications from compassionate, ethical and talented
academics to significantly contribute to the overall development,
learning and teaching, research and engagement with relevant
organisations to equip our students with the skills and ability to

About you
To
be considered for this position, you will be a qualified
counsellor/counsellor educator and possess a PhD or be close to
completion of a PhD in psychology or a relevant area. You will be
passionate and committed to the development of the counselling
discipline to ensure the courses offer an enriched learning
experience. In addition, you will demonstrate the knowledge and
skills required to contribute to innovative curriculum in the
counselling discipline. More specifically, you will have:

you will possess a PhD and leadership experience and scholarly
achievement at a senior level.
