NOTICE OF COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION: PROFESSOR

in the Humanities Institute of the Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Technology and Economics in Jarosław

I hereby announce a competition for a position of a full-time professor in the group of teaching staff of the Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Technology and Economics in Jarosław (PWSTE).

The competition procedure is open to persons who meet the requirements specified in the Law on Higher Education of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574).

Qualification requirements:

– holding a post-doctoral degree,

– scientific achievements in Pedagogy,

– professional experience in conducting didactic classes in the field of Protective and Educational Pedagogy.

2. Required documents:

– declaration of the competition participant,

– application form addressed to the Rector,

– certified copies of the diplomas (Master’s degree), Doctoral degree, Post-Doctoral degree,

– CV and personal questionnaire of the person applying for employment,

– consent for personal data processing (GDPR),

– DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service),

– documents confirming the scientific, didactic and organizational achievements,

– the candidate’s statement that the Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Technology and Economics in Jarosław (PWSTE) will be the place of primary employment in case of winning the competition.

3. Place and deadline for documents submission:

– personally: the Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Technology and Economics in Jarosław, 16 Czarnieckiego St., 37-500 Jarosław (a registrar’s office, Room No 1) with the annotation: Humanities Institute – COMPETITION – PROFESSOR (PEDAGOGY),

– by postal mail addressed to: the Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Technology and Economics in Jarosław, 16 Czarnieckiego St., 37-500 Jarosław with the annotation on the envelope: Humanities Institute – COMPETITION – PROFESSOR ( PEDAGOGY),

The deadline for submission of documents is 17.10.2022 – delivering to PWSTE.

Please be advised that after initial verification of the submitted offers, the interviews will be held only with the selected candidates.

The PWSTE reserves the right to cancel the competition proceedings at every stage without specifying the reasons.

The final decision of the competition which will be announced by 24.10.2022 is not tantamount to the employment of applicant in PWSTE, Jarosław.

The final decision is taken by Rector of PWSTE.

The PWSTE states that one of the decisive criterion for competition resolution is the presentation of lecture (exercise concept) to verify the didactic competence of applicants.
