Job Description

  • Establish and implement an annual professional education program, aligned with sales and marketing priorities, that will enhance customer awareness and understanding of our products and services
  • Provide professional education to healthcare professionals across different clinical disciplines and specialties including (but not limited to) neurosurgeons, plastic reconstructive surgeons, general surgeons, ENT surgeons, vascular surgeons, nurses, nurse practitioners, podiatrists.
  • Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders to develop, implement and participate in Professional Education, Market Research and Advisory Panels.
  • Develop and utilize a variety of formats to meet the education and training objectives including forums, workshops, cadaver labs, sponsored symposia, speaking tours, webinars, and training videos.
  • Incorporate adult learning principles into education and training activities and gather feedback as a means of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage the annual professional education budget.
  • Ensure events are compliant with local regulations and internal global compliance policies.
  • Assist the establishment of HCP contracts when professional education consulting agreements.
  • Work in collaboration with direct employees, distributor partners, and indirect contractors across the region

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A university undergraduate degree is required; science, applied health or nursing, preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience within the Medical Device industry
  • Experience in developing complex clinical education and training events for healthcare practitioners.
  • Excellent communication, consultation, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in 2 or more languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, key opinion leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, including management of multiple projects and deadlines.
