Agropur is looking for a Night Shift Production Supervisor to join its team in Amqui. The Night Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring the operations of the production department.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Night Shift Production Supervisor oversees plant operations, manages the team during their shift, and ensures solutions are found to various issues in order to meet Agropur’s objectives and standards. They provide continuous supervision of manufacturing processes and procedures to improve them and reduce costs. In addition, they help maintain food quality requirements as well as health and safety standards. The work schedule is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday night to Friday morning).

• Salary range 004: $71,200 to $89,000 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position).

What’s involved in this role

• Responsible for the plant’s operational performance, including developing and deploying performance indicators and continuous improvement philosophy.
• Coordinate manufacturing processes, product packaging, and workforce assignments.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, HACCP, HALAL, GFSI), health and safety, and environmental requirements.
• Engage, develop, and train the team, and empower employees.
• Lead performance meetings with work teams.
• Initiate problem-solving initiatives with teams.
• Manage based on a business partnership approach with all on-site collaborators.
• Participate in plant committees and implement operational excellence programs.
• Ensure application of the collective agreement.

What you need to join our team:

• College or university degree in engineering, operations management, or other relevant fields.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a production supervisor in a unionized environment.
• Experience in the food industry (an asset).
• Strong computer skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
