Production Assembler in Vancouver, British Columbia

Aerotek is hiring production technicians in Vancouver for a growing company! All positions are full-time and long term.

Current openings are for the afternoon shift, all new hires must train on the morning shift.

What you will be doing:

• mechanical assembly of outer shells

• electrical assembly of controls

• documentation

• lifting and carrying panels

• using various hand and power tools

Schedule & Wage:

Monday to Friday with some overtime on Saturday

• AM shift – 7am-3:15pm training on this shift

• PM shift – 3pm-11:15pm

• OT on Saturdays is common

Wage: $22/hour +$1 premium for afternoon shift

Qualifications:

• manufacturing experience

• comfortable operating power tools

• great communication

• able to lift 50 pounds

• able to do work that can involve bending, lifting and crouching throughout the day
