Product Manager, Pharmacy Benefits in Montreal, Canada

Manulife is looking for a Product Manager who has experience with Group Benefits and/or the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, the Product Manager will be accountable for the management and development of products and services targeted at helping employers balance the costs associated with pharmacy benefits while supporting employee health and productivity. A key accountability of the Product Manager will be to contribute to and execute on our evolving pharmacy benefits strategy – a significant opportunity for the right candidate to build upon an existing suite of solutions to truly differentiate Manulife in the marketplace.
Position Responsibilities:

Product Development and Evolution: Ensure a relevant and concise product shelf that boosts sales and persistency while leading key product projects from inception to launch to meet business plan objectives.

Clinical Insights and Collaboration: Collaborate with analytics teams to deliver actionable customer insights and identify clinical intervention opportunities, understand healthcare advancements and their impact on outcomes, and stay informed about industry trends to drive innovation in managed care.

Leadership and Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development, providing pharmaceutical expertise to keep projects on schedule and addressing issues promptly, while driving projects to completion and facilitating timely decision-making and consensus

Stakeholder Engagement: Support internal stakeholders in Marketing, Pricing, Underwriting, and Distribution to convey the value of pharmacy programs, and assist in presentations to clients and internal departments.

Performance Monitoring: Support real-world data analysis to derive insights from health data, and track, measure, and report trends and successes for effective resource management.
Required Qualifications:

5+ years of product development experience and demonstrated success in project management.

Health economics or research experience is desirable.

Strong knowledge of group benefits and the healthcare landscape.

Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or related health discipline.

Ability to anticipate industry trends and identify opportunities related to healthcare and financial services.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present to varying audiences.

Salary range is expected to be between
$84,375.00 CAD – $151,875.00 CAD
