How You’ll Make Your MarkYour main tasks in this role are:

  • You are responsible for overseeing day to day buying related foreign exchange (Forex) activities
  • You are looking forward to driving innovation and new functions in the Forex area
  • As a Process Manager Foreign Exchange you analyse, optimize and develop operational procedures and processes
  • Supporting in changes to and evolution of strategic business processes is part of your tasks
  • You successfully lead, coordinate and develop a team of specialists
  • You take responsibility for evolving the current team setup from project working mode towards steady state
  • Beyond that, you participate in global projects to represent buying related Forex stakes for several international buying departments
  • In addition, you develop and manage relationships within the global ALDI community

Your ProfileThe requirements of the role include:

  • As a Process Manager Foreign Exchange you have completed your studies in the field of business administration, business informatics, or similar
  • You have got several years of professional experience within the field of foreign exchange and / or process management, or similar
  • Analytical and strategic thinking as well as conceptual competence sets you apart
  • You are in the driver seat for your topics with a high degree of assertiveness and a focus on continuous improvement
  • You are experienced in handling the PC (especially MS Office)
  • You are experienced in managing and developing employees
  • As a leader, you possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • You are fluent in the English, German skills would be an advantage
  • You are comfortable working in an environment with dynamic processes, projects and concepts with various stakeholders across hierarchies and countries
