Incumbent serves as a Process Improvement and Business Intelligence Analyst with the Technology Program Management team of Integrated Procure-to-Pay Solutions (IPPS), a unit of Business and Financial Services (BFS). This position will directly support IPPS’s core values for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement, through process and data analysis. This position will research, compile, analyze and visualize performance and operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend department leadership solutions. Position conducts analyses of functional business processes, gathering information through independent research and process mapping, flow-charting, and workshops with end users.

  • Working knowledge of business intelligence functions and analytics. Proven track record in data or statistical analysis, developing and proposing business process improvements using quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques.

  • Working knowledge of relevant internal databases, BI applications and tools. Ability to produce reports and documentation. Knowledge of processing mapping and diagramming tools.

  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-resolution, organizational, and research skills.

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with professional and technical staff. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various organizational levels.

  • Ability to train staff at a variety of technical skill levels.

  • Understanding of process efficiency, project management, estimating, planning and scheduling

  • General knowledge of business and process analysis functions. Experience interviewing subject matter experts as part of the process mapping and business requirements definition phases of process improvement projects.Demonstrated experience in project management/planning and team facilitation

  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and Project Management Professional methodology and principles.

  • Demonstrated experience creating reports in Oracle Financial Cloud, ServiceNow, Concur, Tableau, and/or Cognos.
