Sky Protect is a new innovative provider of Smart home insurance in the UK. We launched in 2023 and are quickly becoming an established insurance brand. As a Pricing Lead at Sky Protect, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our pricing strategies through cutting-edge analysis and innovation. You’ll leverage internal and external data sources to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and make informed recommendations that enhance the customer journey.

What you’ll do

Are you ready to make a real difference using data? As the Pricing Lead at Sky Protect, you’ll play a key role in shaping our pricing strategies by:

• Using internal and external data sources to perform analyses and make change recommendations

• Having a solid understanding of the insurance market to identify and describe changing customer behaviours

• Undertaking research to identify opportunities that improve customer journeys and rating by using new and innovative techniques

• Assisting with the implementation of price changes and monitoring their impacts

• Ensuring control and governance processes are followed, with all necessary documentation in place

• Working as part of a small, focused pricing team within the broader Sky Protect team.

What you’ll bring: 

• A proven ability to use a variety of tools and techniques to drive meaningful improvements.

• A strong understanding of modelling techniques, with insight into both their advantages and limitations.

• Excellent organisational skills to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.

• The ability to communicate complex terms and ideas in a simple to understand manner for a broad range of consumers across Sky. 

• A solid academic background in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics or Statistics.

• High numeracy skills and comfort with analytical techniques and methods.

• Knowledge of Python (desirable).

• Multiple years of experience in a similar analytical role.

• A passion for sharing your expertise and supporting junior team members in their development.

Your office base: (Flexible)

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
