PRE-DOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), to join the research team of Professor Amy Finkelstein, focusing on randomized evaluations, including studying the effect of expanding public health insurance and analyzing the impacts of healthcare hotspotting on super-utilizers. Responsibilities include working with data sets; analyzing data; and assisting with literature reviews, IRB applications, and preparation of academic papers. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in getting more exposure to economics to and a Ph.D. in economics.  

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree; two years of research experience (may include research experience gained as an undergraduate); quantitative background and strong computer skills, including programming experience; ability to work independently.  PREFERRED:  research assistant experience, a background in economics, and a strong technical background.  Job #21874

The appointment will begin in the spring or summer 2023 with a two-year commitment being ideal.
