The School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering (CSEE) is a large and vibrant department in the Faculty of Science and Health. The REF ranked CSEE 6th in the UK for Computer Science research power and 100% of its research impact was rated world-leading or internationally excellent. CSEE is internationally known for its research in a range of areas and offers a broad range of degree courses to its students.
Duties of the Role
The Postgraduate Student Services Manager is a newly created position within the School and will work closely with the Undergraduate Student Services Manager to successfully deliver the School’s student services function. You will have specific responsibility for the School’s postgraduate student services (PGT/PGR), managing and developing a high-quality and efficient team. You will shape the student services delivery model for the School and will drive a culture of excellence in service delivery, sharing of best practice and continuous improvement.
The post holder will work in partnership with the Undergraduate Student Services Manager to continually review service and develop consistent ways of working. Both role holders will provide cover for one another in times of absence.

Qualifications and Skills required
Applicants will be expected to have a good first degree or equivalent professional experience. You will have significant and relevant recent administrative experience in a complex and challenging role in a higher education setting, including developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures. You must be a confident and empathetic communicator, with experience of liaising with stakeholders on a range of levels.
