This is an exciting opportunity to join the Postgraduate Research Administration Team, working to deliver professional services to our doctoral students, academic colleagues, and wider stakeholders.
As Postgraduate Research Administration Coordinator, you will be based in the directorate of Registry and Student Administration, responsible for coordinating administrative processes associated with doctoral students, from enrolment through to graduation.
The post requires a skilled administrator with excellent organisational skills and a desire to deliver an exceptional student experience. You will be required to interpret and work to a range of established procedures and regulations. You will also be expected to support the continued development and improvement of administrative processes.
Postgraduate Research Administration is an involved role, ensuring a varied and stimulating workload that requires an organised and proactive individual. You will be working alongside a small team of professional administrators and will have line management responsibilities.
Experience using IT packages to a high standard is essential. In addition, the post holder must have the ability to remain agile and adaptable to changing demands on their workload.
Benefits of the role include a generous holiday entitlement, with additional customary days. There is a generous employer contribution pension scheme and a reward scheme for shopping discounts. There is a fitness centre, nursery, on-site food and drink outlets and on-site car parking.
We are proud to have been awarded University of the Year for Social Inclusion 2020 by The Sunday Times and to be ranked first in the English Social Mobility Index 2022 and 2021 by the Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI). We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds.
