Postdoctoral Researcher: Cognitive Neuroscience

We are looking to appoint a Postdoctoral Researcher to join Brain & Cognition Laboratory, reporting to Professor Kia Nobre and Professor Mark Woolrich. The post is based in the Oxford Centre for Human Brain Activity (OHBA) in the Department of Psychiatry, at the Warneford Hospital.  

The post is for a fixed term (funded for 24 months).

You will work as part of the OHBA Analysis Group and the Brain & Cognition Lab to help develop, improve, and document tools and pipelines for analysing MEG/EEG data, and deliver translational cognitive neuroscience studies. This will include researching and developing new computational methods for inferring brain networks and their dynamics, and designing, programming and conducting experiments investigating changes in patterns of neuronal activity associated with brain and psychological health.

You should have or be close to the completion of a PhD in Neuroscience or a relevant area, along with an interest in developing pipelines for clinical translation. With a proven background in cognitive or clinical human neuroscience you will have experience analysing psychological experiments in human participants involving neurophysiology and/or brain imaging, along with knowledge of statistics methods applied to behavioural and brain-imaging data. An ability to provide training in data analysis would be desirable.
