Are you a postdoctoral researcher interested in the neurodevelopment of cognitive functions? Are you eager to work with children in a brand-new cutting edge lab facility?

The Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development, (CBCD), Department of Psychological Sciences, is seeking a postdoctoral scientist to play a key role in delivering two research projects.

The first project investigates the emergence of brain-to-brain synchrony during preschoolers’ collaborative problem solving, using behavioural, optical motion tracking, eye-tracking and fNIRS-EEG methods.

These include knowledge of behavioural and/or neuroimaging experimental testing particularly on children, analytical and statistical methods to analyze behavioural and/or neuroimaging data.Experience of other methods and programming skills (e.g., Matlab) would be an advantage but is not necessary as training will be provided.

This post will require working with young children and liaising with parents and teachers and therefore requires excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communications, attention to detail, and good numeracy skills.
