Postdoctoral Research Fellow

About the Role
The Research Fellow will contribute to the intellectual life of the School / Institute and wider institution. They will be involved in the MRC-funded ATTUNE project investigating mechanisms and mental health impacts of adverse childhood experiences to co-design preventative arts and digital interventions.

About You
Candidate will have a PhD or Professional Doctorate in a social science discipline, or equivalent publication record. They will have knowledge of academic research into ACEs and mental health and have a publication record appropriate to experience level. They will have experience and expertise in advanced quantitative data analysis including data cleaning, regression models, SEM, and latent class modelling. Candidate will have the ability to work with large complex data sets and communicate complex information effectively, both verbally and in writing.

The Unit of Psychological Medicine is a part of the Centre for Psychiatry & Mental Health at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health. It has a focus on academic discipline, research, the translation of research into public health strategies and their practical implementation – all dedicated to the reduction of disease and disability.

The post is based at Whitechapel/Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It is a full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term appointments for 1 years, with an expected start date of November 2022. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £35,775 – £39,815 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
