Full Time, Fixed Term for 2 years – Open to Coventry University PhD Candidates only
This scheme offers the opportunity to Coventry University Postdoctoral Researchers to start their independent research careers whilst undertaking a period of guided research. The fellowship provides a training period during which successful candidates can develop skills, knowledge and experience while participating fully in the research environment of their research centre, to then move on to lead their own independent research in industry or academia at the end of their tenure.
The scheme is designed for postdoctoral researchers who have consistently delivered high quality research outputs and are able to evidence a robust research proposal as an independent researcher, developing the ethos of PhD to Professor.
The scheme aims to develop clear career pathways for Coventry University PhD candidates who have submitted their thesis and allow them to benefit from a structured mentoring programme by being involved in additional projects within the Research Centre to which they are attached.
