Position Summary
The appointment is viewed as a training or transitional period preparatory to an academic, industrial, governmental, or other full-time research or teaching career. Learn and perform neuroimaging and laboratory based research. Learn to train others in relevant techniques. Produce scientific publications and learn to write grants. This position trains under the supervision of Scott A. Norris.
The appointment is of limited duration generally, not to exceed five years cumulatively unless there are extenuating circumstances. The appointment is not part of a clinical training program.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Ph.D., M.D. or an equivalent terminal or doctoral degree.
Working Conditions
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological, radioactive and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.
