Also offered are engineering technology programs that are based on applications of technology to solve engineering problems.UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. We welcome candidates who have experience with HSI/MSIs and/or who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other variations), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or/and Yoruba.Position OverviewThe Smart Materials Lab at UNT is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to conduct research on the development of surface acoustic wave/bulk acoustic wave sensor devices.

Minimum QualificationsPhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.Preferred QualificationsExpertise in developing wireless communication modulus for piezoelectric sensors including SAW and BAW sensors.
Demonstrated strong experience in the development of wireless piezoelectric sensors, encompassing design, fabrication, and testing.
Proficiency and experience in Wireless Surface Acoustic Wave Sensors or Bulk Acoustic Wave sensor development.
Ability to perform finite element simulations using software such as COMSOL, ANSYS, or ABAQUS.
Experience in utilizing these tools for in-depth analysis is highly desirable.Required License/Registration/CertificationsJob Duties:

• Perform computer simulation, perform experiment design and testing.
• Writing project reports, and grant proposals.
• Supervise and collaborate with graduate students in the lab.
• Publish Journal and Conference papers.
