Overview

About the Role

We are seeking a postdoctoral research assistant to join the group of Prof. Pedro R. Cutillas in the Centre for Genomics and Computational Biology, to work in a CRUK funded project in collaboration with Dr Helfrid Hochegger (University of Sussex). This project aims to use proteomics and phosphoproteomics techniques to provide insights into a new cell cycle control pathway with relevance for cancer therapy. The PDRA will perform proteomic and phosphoproteomic experiments and will analyze the data using computational methods for inferring signaling pathway activation from phosphoproteomics data developed in the Cutillas lab (Hijazi, M., et al (2020). Nat Biotechnol 38, 493-502). This work is expected to provide insights relevant to cancer biology and therapeutics.

About You

Essential requirements for this post include a PhD in a relevant experimental (biochemistry or proteomics) subject and a strong background in the analysis of proteomics data.
