Postdoctoral Fellowship in Theoretical Gravitational and Quantum Physics

Location – North campus. This role is in-person.

This position has a term length of two years (with the second year conditional upon satisfactory progress in the first year).

Position summary

This position would be to do research in theoretical gravitational physics and/or related subjects in quantum theory, such as black hole evaporation, black hole information, quantum cosmology, and related areas. The position is for two years (with the second year conditional upon satisfactory progress in the first year), beginning in Fall 2023. Compensation is at $50,000 per annum with supplemental benefits.

Minimum Qualification

• Physics Ph.D. within 5 years of appointment

Preferred Qualification

• Ph.D. and published papers in theoretical gravitational physics or closely related subjects
