For more information on the college staff leadership academy, please visit:For more information on college staff professional development, please visit:PurposeThe Thomas Jefferson Center for the Study of Core Texts and Ideas invites applications for a post-doctoral teaching fellowship for a term of one academic year from August 16, 2024 to August 15, 2025, possibly renewable for a second year.This position is a full-time appointment that provides a competitive stipend and benefits. Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. degree within the past three (3) years before the starting date.Please submit a cover letter explaining your interest in teaching the great books in a multi-disciplinary setting and setting forth research aims and plans, a current C.V., a research paper or other suitable evidence of scholarship, evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching, and a list of references (one of which should be from a previous supervisor).
