About the position

The postdoctoral fellowship position is a temporary position where the main goal is to qualify for work in senior academic positions.

The Postdoctoral fellow will work on the project “Automated machine learning framework tailored to Earth Observation” (ATELIER-EO).

ATELIER-EO will create an automated machine learning framework that will improve the deep learning models quality and significantly decrease the time to prepare and test deep learning models tailored for earth observation applications. The post-doctoral fellow will focus on research and development of deep learning algorithms for handling low-quantity/quality data.

The project is financed by the Norwegian Research Council and gives a unique opportunity to combine academic and industrial research.

The ATELIER-EO project is coordinated by Science and Technology AS , which is an Earth Observation (EO) company focusing on developing downstream services based on satellite and aerial imagery. NTNU has the role of research partner.

The place of work is at NTNU in Gjøvik.
