Postdoctoral Fellow
Seeking applications to join our Agricultural Sciences team.
Mō te tūka The role
We are seeking an interdisciplinary-backgrounded postdoctoral researcher with training in Animal science, farming systems and systems modelling approaches and capable to manage research projects and farmlets.
The position requires familiarity with research approaches of dairy science. Ideally, the researcher will be sufficiently aware of the value, concerns, and sensibilities of social concerns on livestock production systems.
This is a three-year fixed-term role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus. Remuneration is set at $75,000 per annum.

To be successful in this role you will need:
- A PhD in a relevant field. Relevant disciplines include Animal, dairy, Nutrition, and farm systems sciences.
- Interdisciplinary background that includes training in Animal and pastoral science. It is important to have familiarity with the research approaches and science.
- Capacity for statistical analysis and modelling.
- Experience conducting animal research, modelling, and farming.
- Training and research experience in foraging ecology and human nutrition.
- A developing record of scholarly research and publication.
