| Position Summary | Center-Level Postdoctoral Position at Indiana University, Bloomington One postdoctoral opening is currently available to conduct research in the NSF-funded Center for Single-Entity Nanochemistry and Nanocrystal Design sponsored by the Centers for Chemical Innovation Program. This individual will be co-advised by Profs. Sara Skrabalak (https://skrablab.sitehost.iu.edu/ ) and Xingchen Ye (https://ye.lab.indiana.edu/ ) and will be expected to dedicate 75% of their time on center-based research initiatives and training activities and 25% of their time initiating collaborations with other research groups at Indiana University that synergy with center research. Job summary:research will focus on development and application of high-throughput methods for analyzing colloidally prepared nanocrystals for plasmonics and electrocatalysis. Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or any related discipline. Ideal qualifications:A proven track record in one or more of the following research areas: electrocatalysis with either homogeneous or heterogeneous catalysts, synthesis and characterization of colloidal nanocrystals, optical spectroscopy of nanomaterials, and/or plasmonics. Skills in automated image and data analysis. Desired attributes: Demonstrated creative problem solving, experience working on multiple research skills (including relevant time management and prioritization skills), and aptitude for building collaborative relationships.
