| Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. A postdoc position is available for a highly motivated and independent candidate in the group of Subhajyoti De at Rutgers University Cancer Institute in NJ, USA. The postdoctoral fellow in the group of Dr. De will be involved in cancer research at Rutgers, and in this role will advance knowledge for better diagnosis, stratification, and treatment of cancer. Dr. De’s group has particular interest in cancer evolution, cancer progression, and treatment, and the candidate is expected to contribute in one or more of these areas. There will be opportunities to work in an interdisciplinary team both in clinical and research settings on a variety of high impact, cutting edge projects. More information about research projects and publications in De-lab can be found at http://www.sjdlab.org/. The candidate should have a PhD in a relevant science. Preferred: PhD in biology, biotechnology, pharmacology, computational, statistical or mathematical sciences. The individual must have effective communication, team working, problem solving skills, and adaptability to changes in technological and scientific directions. | COVID-19 Immunization Requirement | Under Policy 60.1.35 , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Failure to provide proof of primary vaccination and booster will result in rescission of a prospective employee’s offer of employment and/or disciplinary action up to and including termination. |
