This position will be in support of Dr. Philip Jordan in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The research to be conducted focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms that are required for maintaining the genome from one generation to the next. Our lab focuses on the function of proteins that ensure DNA replication is completed accurately, and chromosomes are compacted normally and segregate equally during cell divisions. Our lab specializes in the assessment of genetic disorders that cause developmental defects and infertility.
