Starting Fall 2022 or Spring 2023, the candidate will join the Rutgers University Earth System Science & Policy Lab (earthscipol.net) , under the direction of Professor Robert Kopp, in close collaboration with the Research in Advanced DIstributed Cyberinfrastructure and Applications Laboratory (radical.rutgers.edu) , under the direction of Professor Shantenu Jha in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering.

Its goal is to develop a framework that keeps pace with software engineering advances and makes these powerful modeling approaches broadly available to the paleo science community.
Principal responsibilities include: (1) engaging with international networks of paleo researchers to develop requirements for PaleoSTeHM, (2) using PaleoSTeHM to develop statistical models to reconstruct past global and regional changes in sea level, (3) training other paleo researchers in the use of PaleoSTeHM, and (4) writing papers describing this research.
